Planning matters are discussed twice a month at the Planning Committee
Meeting held on the 1st Wednesday of the month and at the
Full Council Meeting on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Village
Hall, both meetings commence at 7.30pm
If no new planning is received the Planning Committee Meeting is not
normally held.
All
planning
applications are reviewed on each individual application and we do take
into account whether or not the application conforms to the
Village Design Statement
, so it is advisable to read this document before submitting an
application.
Each
meeting is
preceded by an invitation to hold an open session. Any member of the
public may speak during this session
and it is the public’s only opportunity to address the
Councillors. As matters raised may not previously have been
known
about no Councillor or the Clerk have to respond to a question raised.
