FOUR
MARKS PARISH COUNCIL
.....one of three
tiers of statutory local
authority (others are East
Hampshire District Council and Hampshire County Council).
It has responsibility for land and other property within the Parish of
Four Marks and issues an annual "precept"
on the District Council to raise the money it needs to function through
the Four Marks Council tax.
Councillors
There are 10 unpaid parish councillors and
one paid employee - the Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer working 25
hours/week
Meetings
Full
meetings of the council are held
at 7.30pm on the third
Wednesday of each month except
August.
Planning
meetings are held at 7.30pm on
the first Wednesday
of each month unless cancelled by the Clerk because no planning
applications have been received.
All meetings are held in the Village Hall

PUBLIC ARE VERY WELCOME TO ATTEND ALL COUNCIL MEETINGS
15 minutes are set aside
for an Open Session
at the start of meetings for questions/discussion on village issues
