How has
FMPS
achieved such a turn around, well as
a larger school it is able to offer a broad
based curriculum and extra curricula activities. FMPS is highly
regarded for the pioneering work it is doing in child initiated
learning. Providing over and above the required level of learning
support staff giving all the children from the most able to the
greatest challenged access to highly trained and well resourced
assistance. An extensive range of after school activities are offered including, football, netball, hockey, science club, art club, French, jive, gymnastics, athletics, rounders and drama. Alongside the excellent academic programme there are ample opportunities for the dramatically and musically minded with annual productions for all year groups. For the sports minded there are fantastic sports coaches and hold inter house and inter school competitions. The schools facilities are second to none, with extensive grounds including dedicated playground, netball courts, swimming pool and football pitches, as well as its own large nature pond and woodland.
